First, it's important to note that there is no one stand that is "better" than another as they all have their purpose and applications. The main question is how you would like to apply the therapy - whether that be sitting, standing or laying down. Also, how many panels you plan to use - whether that be a single panel, two panels or four panels. We would recommend to read through the description of each stand to check the suggested use and capacity of each stand and if you need further guidance, please get in touch as we are happy to help!
While we do have many customers that choose to use the horizontal stands in the vertical position, this is not the intended usage of this type of stand so we will not guarantee it. Some customers have found that the base of the stand gets in the way of a comfortable application while others have had no problem with it. Since we always want to ensure complete satisfaction, we simply state that the intended usage of the stand is in the horizontal position while the vertical orientation is intended for storage. In the end, you may of course use the stand in any manner that you wish. Please also note that basically all other horizontal stands that you see offered by other sellers are an exact copy of our original design and work in the same, exact manner that our stands do. If they are advertising the stand as being able to be used on the vertical position, then it would not operate in any different manner than ours would and the previous answer would apply to their stand as well.
At this time, the only stand option for a BIO series light would be the Mobile Floor Stand.
